This information session will address how DARPA, ARPA-H, and other ARPA-style agencies operate differently from other federal research funders. We will discuss how to determine whether an idea is a good fit, how to engage effectively with program managers before and during a funding opportunity, how to build the right team, and how to avoid common proposal pitfalls. The session will also include a panel discussion with UT faculty who have firsthand ARPA experience, sharing lessons and practical perspectives from working with these agencies.
